Zip is an awesome all around horse. I have barrel raced off of him, goat tied, started team roping, and of course his all time favorite - breakaway roping. This past fall he competed in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and placed with a bran new rider on his back! He loves to do new things but he's very much 'business' when he is in the arena. He takes his job seriously but he does have fun. When setting up the box for break away roping, I walk him in, back him up, and nod my head. I usually start swinging before leaving the box and catch two strides out. He stops hard and straight. He is quite in the box and comes out flat and fast. You have to lean forward when you nod because he comes out strong. He has never lost a calf. A gray mare by Mr. Metallic and she couldn't remember the dam's whole name but had "Super" in it I think she said. Anyway..... the mare is nice. He grew up to be about 15.3 and weighs about 1200lbs. He is solid, both mentally and physically. When he was just a yearling, we took him to a national horseshow and showed him in the inhand trail class because he is just that quiet! | Comments: | Hey Randy, Just checking in and making sure that everything is on for wed the 2nd. I just checked hwy12 pass reports and it looks good. I do want to confirm the directions I gave you. West on hwy 12. take a right (north) on hwy 7 tward elbe stay on hwy 7 past alder lake & threw canyon. Left(west) on 416th st it is at the top of a hill there will be a grange and a small fire station on the left as well. Go to the 4 way stop and turn Left (south) on dean kreger rd. Follow down hill and stay to the left it turns into Roedomsky rd. Follow roedomsky to the end. house numbers are on the gate post 4819.
